Importing data in Beeyond is organized via a workflow. This can be done one time or set in such a way that import is carried out automatically on preset times.
Possible methods of import
Data can be imported from various files into Beeyond. This can be done by getting the data from a directory / local source or FTP, or sending the data to Beeyond by email. It is also possible to import data from another Beeyond domain. Of course this is only possible after authorization has been obtained (Read more about Safety in the cloud).
Import is organized via a preset workflow. The import method can be chosen and on the basis of this choice a couple of steps must be followed.
Possible formats for import
To be able to work efficiently, it is important that data can be imported into Beeyond in various formats. Currently, it is possible to import data from .XML, .CSV and .Txt files.
Beeyond is still being developed continuously, and in the future it will be possible to import data from other files, such as .XLS and .XLSX as well.
Data validation during import
It is possible to set one or several validators for each type of entity or attribute. This makes the input of data subject to certain requirements. An example is that a series of numbers must lie between certain values.
During the input of data into Beeyond it is checked if the data meet the pre-set validators.
